Troubleshooting, maintenance and repair

We diagnose the issue quickly and bring the system back to safe operation.

SD Otomasyon supports production lines during PLC, HMI, drive, panel, sensor and communication-related downtime. We measure in the field, identify the real cause and restart the system without unnecessary risk.

Service scope

We do not only clear the immediate problem; we help the machine run reliably again.

In troubleshooting and maintenance work, we review the panel, software, field equipment and operator use under one technical view. This makes the reason behind the downtime clear, not just the symptom.

01

Issue diagnosis

PLC, HMI, drives, sensors, motors, relays, contactors and field signals are checked through measurement and observation.

02

Panel inspection

Terminals, fuses, power supplies, wiring, labels and panel layout are reviewed for safe serviceability.

03

Software and communication

Alarms, I/O states, recipes, communication and operator screen issues are analyzed without harming the existing system.

04

Lasting solution

For recurring issues, wiring, panel layout, software logic or field-device revisions are recommended.

When is it needed?

We step in when downtime or unclear issues slow down the maintenance team.

The cause may be a single sensor, a loose connection inside the panel, or the software and communication structure. A correct solution needs electrical, automation and field experience together.

  • The machine is stopped, unstable or causing recurring production downtime.
  • PLC, HMI, drive, servo, sensor or communication-related errors are appearing.
  • There is a risk of loose connections, unlabeled wires, unclear terminals or old wiring inside the panel.
  • The same issue returns shortly after it appears to be fixed.
  • The existing system needs to become more readable, serviceable and safe.

Work process

We measure first, then intervene.

In urgent downtime, speed matters, but controlled work matters just as much. We clarify the issue through measurement and system behavior, not guesswork.

01

Information

Machine status, error messages, previous interventions and production conditions are clarified.

02

Measurement

Power, signal, I/O, communication and field connections are checked with test equipment.

03

Diagnosis

PLC-HMI records, drive messages and panel connections are evaluated together.

04

Intervention

Repair, wiring correction, parameter adjustment or controlled revision is completed as required.

05

Testing

The system is restarted, safe operation and operator use are checked before handover.

Technical focus

We evaluate troubleshooting through the panel, software and field equipment together.

Panel and power

Supply, protection and connection checks

Fuses, power supplies, relays, contactors, terminals, wiring and grounding structure are reviewed.

PLC-HMI-drive

Software, parameter and alarm analysis

PLC states, HMI alarm records, drive parameters and communication structure are read and evaluated.

Field equipment

Sensors, motors and communication points

Sensors, switches, encoders, motors, valves, remote I/O and Modbus/Profinet connections are checked.
